Some changes in your body might be an indicator of more serious health problems. You should not make self diagnosis based soley on these indicators. If the indicators persists, always consult a doctor !! Always ..

Do you have Cold Feet or Hands ? It could mean that you are feeling nervous about something. Then again, you may have Raynaud's syndrome, a disorder that causes blood vessels in the fingers, toes, ears and nose to constrict during an attack. These can be caused by connective tissue diseases like lupus and scleroderma. It can also be caused by some anti-hypertension drugs, or can be an indication of diseases of the arteries.

FingerNail health is an indicator of overall health and wellness. It is possible to tell if you have digestive, heart or even fungal disorder.

Diffuse Hair Loss - Hairs that falls in a diffuse pattern may indicate anemia, thyroid disease or malnutrition. The good news is that diffuse hair loss is not permanent and will grow back once the medical condition improves.
For anemia, you can treat the problem by taking iron and Vitamin B12. Thyroid disorder can be treated through medication, radio-iodine treatment and surgery.

White BandWhite band on Nails - A broadening of the normal small whitish crescent shaped band at the base of the nail plate may indicate liver or kidney disease. The bad news is that by the time the signs are visible on the nails, the related problems may already be quite obvious.

Dry Tongue - It can be a sign of diabetes. If this is associated with thirst and frequent urination, you should consult a doctor. There is no prevention for type 1 Diabetes. This occurs when the body is unable to produce insulin. In type 2 Diabetes, the body is not able to produce sufficient insulin. This can be improves by keeping a healthy lifestyle or keeping within a normal weight range.

SweatingExcessive Sweating - Sweating profusely may be an indication of hyperthyroidism whereby the thyroid gland produces too much hormones. Medication such as carbimazole can help to reduce the hyper-activity of the gland.

Again, belief or disbelief .. that's your call. But Do Not Self-Diagnose and Medicate !! Always consult a doctor if you have doubts or suspicions about changes in your body.
